The slight stickiness you find in the early morning hours of Texas in October is the staging ground for one of the most anticipated upcoming outdoor events. Texas Beer Camp is an overnight adventure for beer enthusiasts and brewers alike. Created by Jason Starnes in 2012, this camping event is intended to educate attendees and serve as a place for beer lovers to share ideas. A collaborative effort built on community and not competition. It is held in Princeton, TX, just north east of Dallas. The $40 admission fee covers entry to the camping event, a reserved spot for your tent, an official t-shirt, beer mug, and beer brewing seminars and demos on craft/home brewing. This is a ‘real’ camping trip. There’s no pretending here. You’re expected to bring your own gear, bring your own beer and leave your pets and kids at home with a nanny or family member who can keep them occupied by reading them a kids story each night. You should also bring your own snacks and water so you have have them if you get hungry in the middle of the night. If you’re planning on coming down in an RV, make sure your battery rv is fully charged, or replace i if you need too! If you attend, send us some pictures to add to the gallery!
