Guadalupe Brewing Company Prepares For Expansion

In New Braunfels, Guadalupe Brewing Company has a problem.  Albeit, it’s definitely a good problem to have.  According to its Facebook a busy summer has pushed GBC to its limits and is in need of an expansion to accommodate a 20bbl fermenter that will be put online this week.

Pretty exciting news!

As of now GBC produces a Honey Ale, Scotch Ale, Dat Wit, Americano Pale Wheat, Chocolate Stout, small batch Coffee Chocolate Stout, and coming soon an IPA.

The IPA isn’t all that’s on the agenda for upcoming releases though. Filed under ‘Special’ releases, bourbon barrels will be harnassed for upcoming versions of Chocolate Stout and maybe the Scotch Ale as well.  Crossing our fingers.

May we recommend:

  • The Scotch Ale is one of the best versions in Texas, and if you can find it- the Texas Honey Ale is a delightful treat on a warm afternoon.

I've lived in Texas all my life and can't express how much I love this state. I found that I was enjoying these amazing bbq spots and drinking fantastic Texas-made beer and wanted my buddies and I to be able to share them with our readers.
