The Texas Alcohol & Beverage Commission provides a public record with all information in regard to beer and liquor being sold in Texas. The neat thing for fans of beer is, we can go to the website and see what new breweries are coming to town, or what our local favorites are coming out with.
It kinda ruins the surprise for some breweries, but oh well. Karbach Brewing Co. decided to jump in front and announce its latest seasonal release, Staycation. A “highly sessionable beer brewed with a blend of barley and wheat and dry-hopped with Bavarian Mandarina for a big citrusy nose”, according to Karbach’s Facebook page.
It will have a 4.8% ABV and 25 IBU, so it definitely lives up to its sessionable description. As someone who lives in a river town, this is the perfect beer-style and vessel to take on the river this Spring/Summer. So definitely be on the lookout for this brightly-colored can on the waters of Central Texas.
